ABOUT KATHLEEN
My photography business started with fine art and travel photography. When my first babe was born, I quickly turned my lens to photographing children and families. Helping families document all of their amazingness, witnessing all of that love bouncing around, and getting to know so many different families. . . . I learned quickly that I was made for this.
Over the years, my photography business has grown to include seniors, adults, small businesses, and more because: Everyone has a story to tell. Everyone deserves to be witnessed. The heart of good photography is all about connection and authenticity, which are two of my gifts. I fall a little bit in love with everyone and everything I photograph, whether it’s a sweet young babe or a family with teens, a newly engaged couple, or the trees and the rocks and the waters.
After more than 16 years of photographing life and love, I’m even more excited to witness YOU.
I live in Chapel Hill, NC with my husband, two teens, and our scrappy little pup. Nothing makes me happier than spending time with my family. I also love being in the woods, dancing and a variety of other movement/somatic practices, traveling, gardening, and cooking. Fine Art Photocards
Blank on the inside, these 5x7 photocards feature a 4x6 photograph matted with fine-art paper that is soft and earthy in texture. They are perfect for gifts, special notes, or to slip into a frame.
Cards are $5 each or a set of five for $20. You can create your own collection of any five images from the Fine Art and Travel galleries or choose from my themed photocard collections (link is in the menu below).
