Catching up on some of my family’s photos from the fall. This is of course from the North Carolina state fair. Can’t tell you how much I LOVE the first photo of Thomas and Jack groovin’ out to the music. I especially love the way Thomas is watching his shadow as he dances. Good memories. . .

And this one just reminds me of all those crazy, rich, vibrant, fabulous colors the fair brings.
I was more fascinated by the deliberate distortion in the second photo. The fair itself is a distorted experience.
So true Dad! I was using the fisheye for all the fair shots. For that one in particular, I waited for the ferris wheel-like ride that was rotating more sideways (the one just below my watermark) to start moving again before I took this shot. I think it also really added to the depth of distortion here.
