Snow snow snow!!   Sledding, snowball fighting, walking in snowy woods, snowangel making, and of course snowman building.   And then warming up by the fire with hot cocoa and popcorn. . . . snowy days.   Thomas busily built snow forts and ice houses for homeless little critters to find and get warm and then inspected the different animal prints left in the snow. . . “a new mystery,” he would say when he found an unfamiliar track.   Tiny little bird tracks in fresh snow have always been a favorite of mine. . . Sadie Ellen kept saying “I looooove winter.”  Together we built a snowman that the kids christened “Cocoa the Snow Angel” (or is it “Koko the Snow Angel”. . .)  Thomas’ contribution was Snow Angel.  Sadie Ellen wanted Cocoa (Koko?) of course. . . Sadie Ellen names EVERYTHING Cocoa/Koko.  Stuffed animals, pretend characters etc.  Every single time, it’s Cocoa/Koko.  One time she actually named something “Really Cocoa/Koko”. . . lol.

It’s been ages since I’ve shared photos of my little loves.  So here are just a few of the fun.  Of course I’ve got to start with Cocoa the Snow Angel.   One snowangel full of character.  With eyes of blueberries (for the birds. . . except a day later the birds still haven’t eaten them. . .)
