I think this might be the most amazing location for a photography session ever. My very very dear friend’s farm. Little pockets of sweet shade flowers, interesting cedar stumps, yard sculptures. . . just everywhere. All kinds of sweet surprises.
We lucked out with perfectly golden evening light when we met up this past weekend to photograph her adorable granddaughter Parker. And Parker’s a hoot. When I asked her what her favorite animal was, she told me it was the Elephant. ” Oh. . . those huge things that live in the antarctic, right?” I was baiting her. . . But she matter-of-factly answered, “No. That would be the glacial elephant. I’m not talking about that kind of elephant.” Ah. A glacial elephant. Of course. We also had sneaky foxes, hilarious cows (with unbelievably real moos a la dad, I might add), honey bees with an attitude (that was me), and the list goes on. Lots of fun.
Thanks for spending the evening with me guys!. Here’s a little preview, more to come soon of course. xoxo~Kathleen

How incredibly fun and creative! Beautiful setting as well – made even better since it’s not some random park but instead a place with special significance for this family.
