It’s no secret that I love to do sessions at home where everybody feels comfortable. Your home is not just a background for your photographs. It’s an element in and itself, and years. .. generations. . . from now will add meaning and emotion to your memories. I’ve always felt home sessions were special for these reasons, but this is especially on my mind right now as I journeyed back to my own homeplace last month.
In this family photo session, I hung out with this sweet family in their backyard while they played and snuggled and read and tickled and so on. They had a favorite treasured spot down the street – a creek they loved to explore. So off we went. I was in heaven. . . Truly. The love.
So this is a large share. And I stopped myself from sharing more. . .
